There are three phases to the process of buying your overseas property in Spain.
1. First comes the fun and exciting part - choosing the location, selecting the property and planning your future. This phase draws to a close when you sign the purchase contract.
2. Next is the interim period, getting everything ready for you to complete the purchase and to enable you to take possession of the property, on time and as smoothly as possible.
3. Finally there are the arrangements for completion and settling into your new home.
There’s no point pretending otherwise, all of this can be a difficult and often daunting process, particularly if it’s not well managed or co-ordinated correctly. Not knowing the language and having to deal with different conveyancing procedures, banking systems and a host of other property-related issues can sometimes appear to be overwhelming.
Fortunately, our dedicated staff supports you throughout the purchase process with guidance and advice, providing invaluable personal assistance and information to ensure a seamless transaction from start to finish. We provide information and advice about the purchase process from the day you buy to the day you complete.
We support you on contractual, technical and legal matters; assistance with your fiscal registration; liaising with vendors or builders; liaison with banks to ensure that finance is in place; arranging property and contents insurance; arranging accommodation and car hire bookings for your overseas visits.
We can obtain quotes for the installation of items such as air conditioning, television systems, swimming pools, securtity systems and for building works such as patios and terraces, kitchens and bathrooms, exclusive offers on furnishing, electrical goods and interior design packages.
We coordinate the final days of the process leading up to completion and we provide personal asssitance at the signing of all documents etc. at the notary.
